  Green Cow…. More Forest Green than our deer and moose leather. We call it “Deer Tanned” since we had the idea to get cow leather a similar feel and thickness as the deer leather. As you know, Cow Leather isn’t caught from the wild, which makes the leather scar free and with very minimal to absent imperfection (no bullet holes). We sell our cow leather 7$ per square foot for a #1 quality (grain side is very nice) and our #2 are 4$ per square foot (grain side is imperfect, but the suede is perfect).

  Gold “Deer Tanned” Cow Leather 2.5 oz

  “Deer Tanned” Cow is a specialty request leather.  This is Cow leather that we tan using the exact tanning techniques as we use for making deer leather.  Same softness and same thickness BUT they are huge!!!   A large deer runs around 12 sq ft but these hides start at 15 and go as large as 28 sq ft.  So if you are working on a large product and need large hides for patterns etc….then ‘deer tanned’ cow is ideal.  AND these are perfect hides…no wild scarring, no awkward bullet holes…just clean perfect hides!!  AND cheaper than deer at $7 per square foot.  Enjoy!!

  Teal Blue “Deer Tanned” Cow Leather 2.5 oz

  You might remember that we had this colour of cow a few years ago. We called it turquoise at the time. Since our turquoise deer and moose is really a true turquoise colour…. let’s say that this turquoise cow is more Teal Blue. If you are wondering what means “deer tanned” it is to explain that the leather is transformed to have a similar feel and thickness as deer leather. As you know, Cow Leather isn’t caught from the wild, which makes the leather scar free and with very minimal to absent imperfection (no bullet holes).   Gold cow split ! The suede is soft and uniform on all it’s surface. It has the same thickness as our moose split and available in bigger sizes. Ranging from 6 square feet to 17 square feet. Perfect as a protection blanket for your small and bigger drums or for arts and crafts.
