There is nothing more velvety soft that Deer Split leather. It is amazing leather, very thin (1.5 ounce) and ultra soft. In fact it’s “Charmin Soft” lol. This leather is often used in jewelry making for backs of earrings, or medallions. Also very popular for doll work or cradle boards. We don’t get a ton of deer split.
Deer is generally not thick enough to produce good split. But at the moment we have VERY nice Orange, Red, Sage Cream and Purple Split. Available in bundles or a mix bundle of all four. These are smaller full hides with pieces averaging around 5 sq ft each hide.
