Black Deer Leather. 2 1/2 ounce. Brand new from this past falls hunting season. This tanning is just wonderful. Mat finish, deep rich black both suede and skin side.
This is wild White Tail Deer from the Laurentian Mountains north of Montreal that we have had tanned black in colour. Amazing texture soft and supple. Seconds discount involved leather where the smooth side (grain side) is not perfect…colour a little uneven, but the suede side is perfect….So if you are planning on using suede out for your project then this is a good way to save some $$. In this picture left hide is skin side out right hide is suede side.
