Copal is a tree resin from the Protium Copal Tree. Copal comes from the Nahuatl language (copalli = incense) Copal is used in ceremonies, it is burned as a medicine for cleansing energies, the home, crystals and oneself. The medicine of copal helps oneself to relase/relax and open the mind and body. This copal is harvested traditionally in Belize (Central America) during and after the full moon of the spring equinox. This tradition of harvesting the copal is maintained by our friends, a Mayan family in Belize where our Copal is sourced. This copal came to us in form of a trade.
