“Deer Tanned” Cow is a specialty request leather. This is Cow leather that we tan using the exact tanning techniques as we use for making deer leather. Same softness and same thickness BUT they are huge!!! A large deer runs around 12 sq ft but these hides start at 15 and go as large as 28 sq ft. So if you are working on a large product and need large hides for patterns etc….then ‘deer tanned’ cow is ideal. AND these are perfect hides…no wild scarring, no awkward bullet holes…just clean perfect hides!! AND cheaper than deer at $7.50 per square foot. Enjoy!!
