Light Cream Moose is brand new to Tribal Spirit and it is going to make some incredible moccasins and mitts!! The skin/smooth side is so beautiful, the grain has just a touch of texture that accents slightly darker cream. So the pattern/grain of moose hides is expressed in colour. The suede side is 100% even and so very ‘tradish’ in colour shade. Extremely soft and supple but will make a pair of moccs that will last for years.
We gather our hides from local hunters who are feeding their families but don’t need the hides. This cream moose is sure to amaze!! We recommend glovers needles # 5 or # 6 for sewing. (5 better for newbies, 6 for more experienced sewers). The seconds have a little too many marks on the smooth side (that is how we categorize seconds) the suede side is perfect 100%. So if you are using suede side out….great way to catch a deal.
