Have you ever heard of the expression, “you don’t know what you don’t know until you know it.” I personally detest and resent the fact that I don’t know what I don’t know. I often (I mean several times a day) ask myself “what the heck is it that I don’t know and how do I find out?”
This brain riddle applied to a bolt of electric genius this week. One of the most popular items we create for you are our Coloured Scrap Bags. Every once in a while we gather up enough ‘scraps’ and Joywind makes up a bunch of bags. We tell you about them….and then they sell out in 12 hours…and we are left saying sorry to everyone who slept through the announcement.
We currently have an abundance of ‘seconds’ leather..and we really need to move some cuz we have new leather arriving. We just can’t just cut up all these amazing hides into scrap bags….that would be dumb. But we realized the reason that you love our scrap bags so much is the variety of colours and the generous sizes of our ‘scraps’.
AND brainwave!! We are going to sort through these seconds cut out the really bad stuff and create a bunch of hides (about 4 to 5 sq ft each) and create the most amazing Tribal Mystery Box.
But it isn’t really much of a mystery. For $100 ($4 per sq ft) you will get 5 or 6 hides (moose or deer mixed colours OR mixed natural) 25+ square feet of leather to craft to your heart’s content. And look…WIN:WIN YAY….enjoy…..and geez I hope we don’t sell out quite as fast…lol…
