We just got a load back from our local tannery and we are very happy about it’s feel. It is toggled when dried, so it is less stretchy, the colour is very uniform and the suede is soooo soft. The thickness is 2.5 ounces. Hides run from 7 sq ft up to 10 sqft. We have been working with 2 tanneries for a bunch of years but cuz we keep gathering more hides we are introducing a third one to our mix. Every tannery has their own colour specialties so expect new colours down the road!
